Hey, someone I have never worked with or seen in my life left a fake Google review on my profile. My service is somewhat higher ticket and I work fairly close with everyone so I would definitely recognize the name if it was real.

Its the only review on there google account. Is there any way to get this removed? Google heavily relies on reviews for GMB rankings so its unfortunate that anyone can just leave a negative review. I am not looking to spend $1000+ to remove some review. I just want to know if there is any methods to do it.

Report it
If they don't solve the issue, you can try to hire microworkers to mass report the review

Worry is a psychological symptom. Get rid of that. Make more brands. Play lottery.

That's how I'd do that.

Just post more positive reviews to beat negative reviews.
That's not the problem, I have mostly 5 star reviews when I do have any, just want to get rid of 1 star review posted by a cheapskate that revenged on me because I didn't give her a refund for completed service

Der dont, having a rating of purely 5 stars makes people think that you've bought reviews.

Science shows a rating of 4.0-4.7 is the "sweet spot" for trustability.

"Spiegel research indicates that purchase likelihood peaks when star ratings fall between approximately 4.0 and 4.7, but as ratings approach 5.0, purchase likelihood decreases. "

That is the way life works. Google is not going to help you. As others mentioned, just get more positive reviews.

If its a legit GMB, report them to google and if the neg reviews are fake google will likely remove them.

Just reply to it from the business side let google and others know publicly it is false. Then it looks bad on Googles end for leaving spam reviews. Should help speed up process
