How to generate capital from $0, strictly online?

Hello, I know this question is asked countless times around here, but I still haven't really found the answers I sought.

Some skills I have are:
Coding (but no trustworthy or strong portfolio) in C++ and some web development,
I am a native english speaker, I can write articles or call, etc...
I am trilingual (not so useful, I think.)
I can do busy work, but anyone can do that, of course
Knowledge in crypto etc..

I have always sucked at generating traffic from social media platforms, not sure how to go on that part. I know ways but a lot of them seem to require starting capital. I am asking this question about doing so strictly online, so please don't suggest a job.

Being a freelancer it seems very hard to find someone who actually is willing to hire me. On writing articles and such, I kind of don't have a good portfolio to back it up. I looked in the hiring freelancers section, but the SEO parts are skills that I don't have. It would be nice if any of you could recommend a more specific way on how to approach this with the limited skillset that I have.

I would suggest you to browse the archive here, find area where you will feel comfortable and in the meantime find some capital to invest, doesn't need to be a lot, but you will need some. It's 1000% more difficult to start earning from 0, than with some investement. You will need it fo some basic stuff, regardless the method you use: domains, hostings, bots, social accounts... The most important thing is to find a method that suits you. You should put a lot of effort in each of it, you will fail and jump over many obstacles, but eventually you'll find one.

Talking from experiance your wrong, I can tell you right away what I tell all the other noobs that cameth before you, and those that come after you.

Build products and services. Things you can sell. Then once you have them promote them to get traffic, without spamming and getting banned on platforms. If you have a service you need a portfolio. If you don't have one that proves you can't finish projects and snap shot them.

If you can't finish good projects, sorry you are doomed, lol

Just write articles in niches that you think are in demand and thicken your portfolio.

From what you have shared, it sounds that you are stuck with not having a portfolio... but honestly, you can start offering free work and solve that quickly.

Write articles, build projects, or offer small coding jobs. Do whatever you can to showcase your skills!

I think you have a good idea of what the problem is and should just focus on that. Just see it as a step to eventually get to the earning level you want.
