How to gain followers?

Hey,
Does follow/unfollow work on Tumblr? I have followed over 500 users in my niche and only 3 followed me back. That's low follow back rate don't you think?

Do you guys know any other methods? I used Tumblr for adult traffic few years ago and it was easy to get followers then. What works now?

Post Good content, Hash tags + follow unfollow. Reblog peoples stuff and like it too.

Takes a lot but you will start to grow.

follow is easily got acc banned, noi matter what content you post, I guess it's because some ppl report.

If you were able to follow 500 that is a good job already. You just needed to make your account legit-lookin. Post as many as you can.

That is a pretty low follow back rate… But I think Tumblr is like any other platform, you have to really engage if you want good results. So you need to post relevant content but avoid spamming your followers. Also, you have to diversify the hashtags you use, seeing automatic hashtags can get pretty tiring — and don’t overdo it, make it up to 7 hashtags or something. Finally, you have to engage with the community, follow the hashtags you’re interested in and like and reblog (preferable) the things you see in there. You can also organize challenges that may relate to your niche in order to encourage people to engage.

-Follow other blogs

How much time did you wait? Maybe it takes more time for them to follow back. I followed like 1000 people on Instagram and didn't touch it for like 3 months. People were still following back

At the end of the day, you need to share quality content and be active on the site. Follow the content of the most popular people in your niche, share your opinion with them under their posts.
Research hashtags and build a strategy around using them. Obviously don't use too popular ones until you build up a significant follower base. There are plenty of guides about that

Sharing some content that got posted elsewhere and doing the follow/unfollow method is definitely not enough. You need to focus on all the aspects of it

I've had bad results also. Not 3 out of 500 maybe, but also lower than other networks.

You will grow that way, but it will be slow. You have to work that engagement too.

Any suggestion how to do it with Jarvee?
I found hashtags from my competitors but dont really know how to use them
Another thing, any tool or suggestion how to choose hashtags / find them?

Chose your blog style.
Chose a url.
Follow popular blogs of the same blog type.
Get a good theme.
Reblog a lot of posts.
Self promoting.
Join Networks.
Become a botw or botm.
Repeat the steps.
