Lol no way to "force" it but backlinks/social signals sure help your chances!

A lot of ways to have your links be indexed. It would help if you put your page on your sitemap. It will not ensure indexation but not doing such may decrease the chance of it.

You could do the "junk overkill" method. Make a 'junk' or test blogspot blog for pinging and testing out things. Also create a junk wordpress.com blog, youtube account and twitter account for the same purpose. Post your new hyperlink(s) you want indexed on the WP blog, the blogspot, and on a youtube upload in the description. Make a bit.ly shortened link (or the blog post url containing the link) and tweet the bit.ly url;
Wordpress CMS by default is supposed to ping new posts, and Google likewise crawls its properties and social media, so between these 3-4 postings your url has got to get crawled. You could also directly ping the posts on Pingler or Pingomatic etc, for more overkill.
