How to force Chat GPT to continue a text?

Dear Hat Friends,

with Chat Gpt there is limit of 600 workd by anwer,
so the trouble is sometime i would like him to add shape a long text :H2, H3 title,<strong>/bold the important keyword.... or even translate a text of 2000 words
and he stop!

And when him to continue the generate content is no more accurate...

There is a way to force Chat GPT to continue a text over the text limit!

I keep repeat 'continue where you left' until it does that.
 
Yea continue where you left off or paste the stuff he generated followed by "how does this continue?"
 
i change my prompt in english ( i wrote in French) and I tried with your word :

'
how does this continue?
expand on XXXX
continue where you left
'

And it is still the same it conclude the article with something not direct linked to the content i just provided him...
Because that the IMPORTANT point of my situation ChatGpt have to deal first with the long text i provide him, since i use any " continue" it go wrong.
For info i tried with my own prompt and AiPRM google extension.

It is strange because before i just have to add continue and it was working: even if it stooped in the middle of a word, it was continuing with the Following letter. Now he continue with a new sentence...

Something change but i can't identify what!

I didn't notice any fixed limit, it's quite random for me. He can stop after 200 words or 1200.

"continue" isn't good in French for chatGPT, I've have better result with something like "continue en reprenant à la phrase - copy/paste the last sentence - ".

Do paid subscribers have also this limitation?

As you know, ChatGPT has a word limit of 600 words for each answer. However, sometimes I need to add elements like H2 and H3 titles, bold important keywords, or even translate a longer text of 2000 words. Unfortunately, ChatGPT stops generating content when it reaches the word limit, and when I try to get it to continue generating content, the accuracy of the output decreases.

Do you know if there is a way to get ChatGPT to generate content beyond the text limit? I would greatly appreciate your help with this.

You don't have any excuses with chatGPT actually :)
 
You need to use the prompt edit button.

First separate the text into a numbered list.

Example:

Prompt: write a detailed french translation for point 1:

1. Beginning
2. Middle
3. End

After it translates point 1, click the "prompt edit" button and change the prompt to translate "point 2" or "point 3". Keep doing this until the entire document is translated.
 
I saw a youtube video of someone using chatgpt to make a calculator in html and he used "continue" to bypass this problem.

for instance ChatGpt just stop in the middle of balise,
and "continue" with something esle : without continuing the tag + the next sentence is not from my source.
( i tried again both language)

For info in my exemple it stop at 2159 character

Apparently "go on" is better than "continue" for many people, but not woking 100% of the time.

chatGPT can't write more than ~450 words for me today... And apparently it's the same with the paid version :)

reconstruct your prompts and set the desired number of words, it should work

"Continue from where you left off" that's the standard text to use because it gave it to me, it always works
 
This is a problem, I wrote an ultimate guide for x with 1 primary keyword and 3 secondary keywords. It screwed up outline and resulted in less the 1500 words article. I was expecting 2500+ words article. If you nail down the outline rest should be easy.
