How to follow more than 5000 on twitter?

I noticed some people are following 75k+ people. I thought 5000 was the limit? How to make it go up?

Where did you hear that 5k was the limit? I am following over 250k with some of my accounts. The number of people following you will usually dictate the number of people you can follow.

the daily limit for bigger + matured accounts is 1k/day
on some days bigger + matured accounts are able to flw 5,5k/day 2016 2017 2018?

via some well known paid services i.e. manageflitter you have a different daily limits. only 2k? more?

via expensive sites you can flw up to 77k/day or more? i.e. fanbase.net
