How to Fix NAP When Using Dynamic Phone Number?

Hi Everyone,

Our business tracks the source of calls to see the type of customers that are coming from each channel, as customers can bring in anywhere from $400-5,000 of business and some sources are better than others.

However, this means that our GMB has its own number, our Yelp has its own number and our website uses a script to dynamically change its number based on where the customer has come in from.

Is there any way to maintain NAP consistency despite this?

Any advice would be appreciated.

It looks everything is well organized on your end.
If that is working with no issues I would leave everything in place.

Yeah that's really tough. It's pretty much impossible to do it that way. Do you really need separate ones for Yelp/GMB, etc?

Also, dynamically changing things on your page based on where the customer is coming from can kill your SEO. Google hates cloaking like that.

The only thing I would recommend is to add an alternate phone number on your GMB, add that to your site, then use that for all of your citations.

Thanks. We'll take the hit because the insights are more valuable at the end of the day to me. That's what I've done already myself, added our primary phone number as an alternate number on our GMB.
