I do but lately not as much. My reach is just much lower now, I get more views on my story for some reason. I have followliker

I can suggest application Cleaner for IG. It will find and block unactive followers, that are just ghost following you. It will "delete" number of your followers, but to actually make money or traffic or something of instagram is engagement not number of followers.

The only way to "fix" the engagement of your IG page is to get rid of the inactive followers.

I think that's a combination of two: getting rid of inactive followers & increasing the content quality

Yeah but that's the problem, getting rid of inactive followers. And how do you determine who is even inactive? A bot basically just goes by who has posted in so many days right?

Just remove inactive friends/followers from your account because they are fake.
