I have found that you can still get credit for having links from no-follow sites.
Doe it matter if a post is link a year old or do you recommend doing it on more recent posts?

and about 2 weeks later it appeared in my webmaster tools as a backlink. What does that mean? well google recognised nofollow links, but what value it puts on them..... we can only guess if there is value besides link juice
yes it's trueI have found that you can still get credit for having links from no-follow sites.
yes it's true
try and get a link from W3C, even in nofollow and you'll be boosted in the SERPs... That's all about fame... It is so difficult sometimes to get nofollow links (e.g. wikipedia) that you can get your site up in the rankings thanks to one well positioned unique link![]()
any PR8 or 9 link even in nofollow will help you![]()
I now have comment hut on the task so hopefully will have some good PR 8 and PR9 soon. Thanks again for your help.any PR8 or 9 link even in nofollow will help you![]()
If nothing else a bunch of indexed no-follows would be a great way to mask your juicy links from prying eyes.
