How to find whether articles are indexed?

I am a newbie with a little SEO knowledge. I have a doubt whether people have any technique to find that the articles are indexed?
It will be useful for me if someone gives a detailed explanation.
 
Advertise on BHW
do a google search:
site:yourdomain.com
All indexed pages of your site will show up in the results (if indexed by G).

for a particular article just put the url in gogle search and see if anything shows up.
 
Type the article title on google search and check if it exists in the results.. if it does, then it is indexed

Since you want to know whether the articles are indexed, you can try site:domain url or even cache:domain url to check whether it is indexed
 
Type site:yourwebsite.com & search on google.
