First to find website using scrapebox, click on the custom footprints radio button for scraping. After finding ton of possible link, remove duplicate and weed out bad links. Then check page authority on scrapebox by this high authority and more backlinks site can get by add on scrapebox page authority. Find relevant guest post website using screaming frog. By this, Only few website is available. Find contact details for those sites, request to start building your backlinks and guest posting.

Hi Ryan,

I was about to buy Scrapebox to start autosubmitting forms for me as part of a PR outreach strategy.

Then saw a videa from Neil Patel saying the tool doesn't work any more because Google's algorithms now know when you've used it and penalise your site for it.

I was of the understanding that's the whole point in a proxy, but was wondering if Neil is right and, even with a proxy, can be caught?

Advice appreciated.

Thanks

Proxy is irrelevant, I mean when you submit something to site A with a proxy ip, google has no idea that you submitted with X ip. Because google can not see that sites record. At best if the site is using google analytics, then it can see the post data and ip and perhaps make the connection, but thats not 100%. Plus many sites don't use google analytics.

I think Neil is talking about an automated link in general.

But I didn't read the article, Neil is a smart guy.

But Id be suspect of a penalty more then the google dance. Because if it was easy to penalize your site then everyone would use scrapebox to bomb their competition and then they would float to the top naturally as all the competition was penalized. Google can't allow that of course, and google can't know if you submitted the link or someone else.

So I don't really give hard and fast SEO advice, I avoid that, but I am a huge fan of testing anything. If Im going to do it, its going to get tested on a site before I use it on all my money sites. IF it works, duplicate it, if it fails, move on.

Don't listen to what I say or what Neil says, listen to the data. I promise Neil has his opinions, but he focuses on data as well, so thats what I would recommend. What gets measured gets managed .
