Hi,

We run a clothing and merch store for petrolheads Forty and Deuce.

We're looking to work with a few high end affiliates but even finding an introduction seems to be harder than ever these days! I put up an ad on another popular forum but nothing.

Anyone encountered the same issues and got any advise on how to save myself a ton of time and wasted $$$

Sounds good. Not really my niche, however. Maybe we can help each other though. Im in the premium publishing niche as an affiliate manager. History and science mostly.

Maybe we can swap ideas if we get any.

maybe your affiliate program isnt attractive enough?

For sure - I've also joined STM forum but not getting a lot of quality information! I guess the nut we have to crack is finding those affilaites!

With regard to if it's not attractive enough geting feedback is vital as we can fix anything.

And as for specific landing pages etc these are all easily created.

I do feel there's a chicken and egg here. I'm looking for a small number of high quality affilaites to work with and each will have a different requirement so rather then heard rabbits I'd work with them to create highly targeted campaigns.

If you have no clue where to find them, then guess where they can find you...What about affiliate networks? Maybe CJ.com ?

Start by making friends with Affiliate Managers from the big networks.

1 connect could mean 100+ affiliates promoting your offer.

Yep - I'm setting out a strategy to begin contacting managers - it's finding the right contacts though. I've tried a couple of forums but you get slated for contacting direct as it's seen as spam!

So I am considering CJ and shareasale - thye're quite expensive to set up but has anyone here got any real world experience on pros and cons. Shareasale seem to be more aligned to what we do

Im going with affiliate networks but they can be expensive. Up to about 25%
