How to find s3 buckets

Hey guys, I have NO IDEA how some of you guys
find these s3 buckets, being their names are often now
unrelated to their products or brand.

So it must not simply just be a matter of guesswork
(however in some cases I am sure that it is)

So, how do we find these oddball s3 bucket names??

It would be cool if someone can chime in with their
blackhat wisdom.

Lol... This is probably the most common question I get asked via PM. Should I write a report on it? Because there are way too many ways to list in a thread comment.

This is sort of like a treasure hunt. It takes a lot of trial and error. One method that works sometimes, is to open a sales page for a new product. Many times there is a video plugging the product. If you are using windows and have the status bar turned on, sometimes it shows the video is located on amazonaws. So, you can copy the sub-domain and input it in S3 and maybe you will get lucky.

Here are some buckets that at one time were unlocked. No guarantees.

I would still love to know how you find them I have s3 ripper and want to use it!
 
Well, have you decided to or not. Did you find out by word of mouth or read it some where . If you write a report suggest it is up for a limited time and then gone. Please will you advise me how I can find out abot this?
