What kind of tool you use to find out what kind of backlinks certain sites use

I am interested in looking at some websites. But not sure which tool to find out what kind of backlinks or where they get backlinks?

I installed SEO quake. But seems I didn't find out results.

Anyone can help?

Thanks.

Another free source for finding where backlinks are coming from is:

Open Site Explorer:

I am not senior enough on these forums to post links, but there was a post on BHW that talks about Blekko and how to use it. If you PM me I will sent it to you so you don't have to look for it.

This seems to be the one many people have migrated to since YSE was swallowed up by Microsoft.

Good Luck!

Its a few months old service but does a pretty good job. It will show 100 backlinks with Alexa and Google's PR in free demo version.

I use MajesticSEO. It's also what Market Samurai uses. The only issue is that the free level of service does not give you all that many actual backlinks.

Thanks for the responses. This was a question I had as well. =)

seo spy glass is the best

scrapebox has a good extension for that as well

ahrefs

seospyglass

also market samurai works great for the first 10 results in SERP

i use ahrefs bro and it worked out really well for me. esp after yse went down.

I was also looking for the same, I have signed up to majestic seo, looks really good and useful.
