How to find niche related forums ?

I have read an article on this, but I cant find it now. It was an exact word pattern and when I paste it to google I find related forums. I want to make some useful posts there with my link in a signature. Thanks

What's your niche by the way? I guess you could visit a lot of general forums. Don't be too bound on niche specific forums since most general forums have threads or subthreads that could contain your niche topic. Anyways, like what the others have said, you just to key in your niche plus the word forum.

my niche is pc strategy games, so I will try to find general pc games forums and post there

what about warez forums ? Is it safe to post in discussion threads there ? Or is it even worth it ?

type the topic you want in search engine and you get the blog related to the topic.

Using parentheses narrows it down somehow as well. I heard about that little trick years ago and found that it really does work.
