Hi,

I am trying to find low comp. keywords for my blog's competitive niche.

I am trying to use, ahrefs, semrush and kwfinder to find and search metrics.

Any other way or easier way to spot good keywords?

I spy on competitiors what they rank for and check the kw comp.

Thanks in advance

I tried out ranktrackr and similarweb, both were able to pull up more info than semrush on a small niche market I was researching. Similarweb is a bit shady when it comes to pricing, never did respond to what the actual cost per month would be.

To be honest if you're not finding anything with all the tools you're using, I'd read more about what a low comp keyword really is :)

It's simple - find a keyword, look at the sites who are ranking and think 'can I outrank them'

I definately recommend using keysearch.co
By far the best keyword research tool I have used

"keywords everywhere - Keyword tool" is one of the best tool to find competition and search volume of keywords.

For free you can go for keywordtool.io but otherwise I can mostly recommend SEMRUSH that could be very helping to use for me.
semrush is sometimes very misleading. I would say that 75% of the time its pretty close but not always. So I double check the keywords (semrush and then kwfinder) to get the better idea

but how do you get new low comp keyword ideas?

usually, the service you are using list would automatically list down all the relevant keywords below :)
Lets say your niche is recipe, it would list all the keywords containing "recipe" :)

You mean kwfinder?

Google Keyword Analytics is the best...you can read about it here in the below..
