How to find influencers within an area?

I have used IG locations and google searches to find influencers within a city with very little success. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to do this, please?

I think that you will hardly find anyone through Google, because the people you need are hard to find

Just use Instagram and then at the locations you have to set not the recent rather the popular

Lol? Then you are going to manually sample their followers to see if they have influence in that city or if it's a global following? Too much work
