yeah I know all the typical answers like expireddomains.net and godaddy auctions and xenu's method. But all of these have failed.

sites like godaddy and sedo: waste of time. I have spent 6 hours a day for the past month going and sorting through these domains, and haven't bought a single one. either the domain is garbage, or if it's good, it's too damn expensive.

expireddomains: all garbage. very rarely do you find anything good there. if you are lucky, maybe you can grab one a week. If you need 50 domains for your PBN, it will take a year!

xenu's method: cool concept, I tried it but haven't been able to find anything. Maybe I am doing it wrong.

how else can I buy some high DA domains for PBN? if you are concerned about other people saturating the method, maybe you could pm me? I am willing to pay $20 for an idea that I have never heard before. and of course, it has to work.

The best way I know is

As every registrar has their own policy on handling the expired domains. Find out who is the registrar of domain your looking for and try getting it from him.

Good Luck !

Just think why the owners will let a domain expire if it has good DA and PA? The one's available out there are spammed to death and mostly penalized.

Because their business is closed.
They missed the renewal notice.
THey changed their email and missed the renewal notice.
Lost interest in their site.
Died.

etc etc. It happens all the time. I recently lost a couple pretty good ones because I was lazy with my renewals.
And I have dozens of great ones that were dropped with natural links.
For the most part avoid domains that are from 2011 and newer, those are usually spammed and left.
Older ones are more likely dropped by mistake.
I just saw a great domain with 4-5 legit .gov links get picked up after it expired. I didn't care for it enough to put the backorder fee in, so I left it.

You can use Scrapebox tdnam addon and DA addon, or just tdnam addon alone, then filter by pagerank , copy those with pr 0+ and use some bulk PA and DA online tool. Dont forget to see if they are indexed by google, and also check the backlink profile to avoid those with spammy links.

I found some good ones that way.

Reverse engineer a large site with tons of backlinks in your niche. Lets say Forbes if you're in finance.

Scrape up all the backlinks and find out which sites are expired.

I found some good ideas at no hat seo. you could go there and read a lot of useful information and watch some of the training videos. I have been practicing the scrapebox xenu method but I just got started with all this. One thing seem's to be that the people there do not use xenu any longer as scrapebox can do the same thing as xenu but with proxies? I have yet to find a method that I can make use of but for learning and finding out what has been done before can be useful as well even if those methods don't generate money.
