    Expanding on what wannabe said, by footprints he means a spring of text that is commonly shared between alike platforms. For example, for vBulletin, this search query in Google short work: "Powered by vbulletin" keyword goes here

    Another idea is to set up Google alerts on some of the keywords/topics related to the niche and subscribe to get only discussion/forum updates. That way you'll find a lot of stuff.
