How To Find a Niche (Probably Shouldn't Post This)

I thought I would release this as my 100th post, so I hope you all enjoy this :)

First, I would like to say thank you to every member, mod, admin, etc. here. For with out them, I would not have gotten my motivation to find/develop my own techniques for the IM world. After all, the only way to truly make money online is by using your OWN method. So once again, THAN YOU BHW!

Now...let's get to business. If you read my original post, this should be extremely easy for you. I am only releasing these search queries because I no longer use them. So if people attempt to cover their tracks, it won't effect me as I don't rely on onpage or inurl text anymore.

The best/free way to find a niche/kw from other IMers is by using big G. I will be introducing 3 new search terms.

  1. Go to G and paste 1 of the 3 into the search bar exactly as I have it below (including the quotes)
    Code:
    "HeatMap Adsense Theme"
    "Powered by CTR Theme"
    "SEO Powered By"
  2. Click "Show search tools" on the left-hand side of the google nav bar
    • Search by "Past month"
    • Search by "Sorted by date"
  3. You now have a list of all IMs who rely on the above plugin to run their micro-niche site
  4. Once you click on the site, go to their top-level domain
  5. Find out what their niche is and steal their keywords
2 of the 3 search terms generate over 6 digits in return search query from G. The other generates in the low 5 digits. But all 3 are great terms that can be used to get your "mojo" going.

The search terms can be whatever you like, just find a popular theme and/or plugin used by IMers and search it in G. If people start to cover their tracks, I may release my own personal method (not involving G). If you are having a hard time, please feel free to PM me. I will be more than happy to help you, but don't ask for my private method as I haven't decided whether or not to release it for free or not.

One more time...THANK YOU BHW!

Your right... You probably shouldn't have posted this.

Probably right lol. But oh well, not like I have a need for it. Yes it easier than my other method, but my other method can't be "blocked". I just wanted to give a little edge to those who needed it.

Thanks again!

Your welcome bro. I hope it works well for you.

I may be wrong, but your method seems to involve searching for blogs with WP Jetpack installed - but the problem I see with this is that many people besides IMers use that plugin.

Read the entire thread. I posted a new search query about 2 hours ago....

These are great methods. Thanks and Rep given. Waiting for new ideas ;)

Quicksilver, get bored and post some more tips.

Love the thread.

Either before I go to bed, or tomorrow night I will try and create a "master list" of search terms for you guys. I will also try and include a little detail about each search term.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys!

One of the many disadvantages of using a popular CMS like Wordpress and keeping default settings. Excellent technique though!

I've decided, that once this method no longer viable, I will be releasing another one of my methods (for free ). It will allow you to find such sites that you are able to find now, but you won't have to worry about the owner of the site not having any searchable terms. I can't really say more about it, but when the time comes, I will hook you guys up with it.
