Are there any proven, easy methods/strategies for finding a niche? Competitor research, etc. I'm looking for research on digital products and dropshipping.
Can't say there's necessarily a trick to it that isn't just a reliable process and methodology. Most people would choose a niche based on demand first and then work around that. Then there's your competitor research, checking around ad libraries and social platforms to see what's activvely getting promoted, etc. That sort of thing.
Simple approach is to study competitors that are already selling well, validate demand through search trends and marketplaces, then niche down to solve one clear, specific problem.
There isn't any easy & proven strategy. We can try exploring through trends like google trends, trending hashtags, trending videos, etc., problems people discuss on forums, reddit, quora, etc., social media groups, competitor research, etc.
Don't look for the perfect niche, look for the underserved one. Go to big marketplaces (BHW, Flippa, etc.) and see what people are complaining about or asking for in the 'Want to Buy' sections.
A "golden niche" is just a boring problem that doesn't have a stable solution yet. If you find a gap where people are willing to pay but the current sellers are low quality, that's your gold mine.
