This. I'll write hundreds of lines before finding an available name. I'll also write down names of existing sites I like as I find this helps with brainstorming similar ones.

Brand name ? There is no brand name. A name isn't a brand until you have made it a brand. In other words you can choose any word , even a combination of alphabets that doesn't mean a word and make it a brand name.
