Launching Facebook advertising is a powerful tool for online sales. But many people still simply burn through their budget, not understanding why advertising is expensive and does not bring results.

Here I share my personal experience - how I manage to make advertising cheap and effective without unnecessary costs.

1. Don't invest your entire budget in one creative

One of the typical mistakes is launching one ad with a large budget. What I do:

I start with $3-5 per day for each option.
I launch 3-5 different ads at the same time (change images, texts, CTA).
After 2-3 days, I leave only what shows results, and turn off the rest.

This approach allows you to save money and understand what really works.

2. Optimize content — reduce CPM

High CPM (cost per 1000 impressions) is often associated with uninteresting content or incorrect targeting.

Use bright images/videos — catch the eye in the first 3 seconds.
The title should be short and contain a benefit or intrigue.
A call to action (CTA) is a must: “Write now”, “Get a discount”, etc.

The more interesting the content, the cheaper Facebook will show it.

3. Choose the right campaign goal

An incorrectly set goal = wasted spending.

Want sales? ➜ choose Conversions or Sales.
Want messages? ➜ Messages.
Need traffic to the site? ➜ Traffic (and be sure to connect UTM tags).

Each goal works in its own way. If the goal is chosen incorrectly, the ad will be ineffective.

4. Increase the budget gradually

Found a working creative? Don't rush to double the budget.

I increase the budget by 20-30% every 3-4 days.
Or I duplicate the ad set and launch it in parallel, without a sharp increase in costs.

This helps keep the cost per lead stable and avoid a "collapse" in efficiency.

5. Monitor the numbers daily

Every morning I check:

CPM - too high? ➜ check the content and targeting.
CTR - low? ➜ weak content.
CPC / Cost per application - out of bounds? ➜ disable ineffective groups.

Not analyzing the data means you're just wasting money.

✅ Conclusion:

Facebook advertising can be cheap and effective if you:

Test correctly.
Optimize content and audience.
Manage your budget wisely.
Analyze data every day.

A small budget is not a problem. The problem is in not understanding how to launch advertising correctly.

Yes – but only if you want to increase engagement quickly or build brand awareness. Not recommended if your goal is conversions or sales – use Ads Manager instead of Boost.

Do you have suggestions on what Targeting options to use such as Interests and Behaviors to find the right audience?

Yes – but only if you want to increase engagement quickly or build brand awareness. Not recommended if your goal is conversions or sales – use Ads Manager instead of Boost.
What is the Boost and what do u mean to use the Ads Manager instead?
