How to edit swf file?

Hello, at my chatroulette clone site I'm using this script: http://live.camchatscript.com/ . Lately I have had big problems with it, because it needs to connect to some adobe server to work. For two days now I'm getting this error: Unable to connect to rtmfp://stratus.adobe.com. I have found that problem might be that this is old url and new applications should use rather this url p2p.rtmfp.net for some reason. I have managed to decompile the .swf file and edit the url, but I'm just not able to make swf file from the fla file again. I have tried many different decompilers and various flash editors.. always get some errors or something. I know nothing about flash or so and losing money every hour my chat is not working. Is here anyone who could help me? I'm looking for any kind of help and if someone could fix it for me I'm also willing to pay.

You can't edit a .swf file, but you can read details of this file with Flash Decompiler software. It will provide the action script code and further details about this file.

To edit a .swf you'll need the .fla file.

I know I have managed to create .fla file of it, but I get always some kind of errors when trying to build .swf file from .fla file again

When you did manage to make a flash file out of the shock wave file, many of the resources must be missing when the software decoded the .swf to get your .fla because it is not 100% possible also try a paid software or you should try to locate the real source of the file or re make the original. That will do the job for you
