How to edit old thread?

Hey guys, I feel a little silly asking...but does anyone know how to edit the first post in thread? I've been trying to change my first post in my stealthpromo thread so I can update my design offerings and pitch, but there's no edit button

Any help with this would be fantastic, I've searched the board to no avail. Thanks!

You can only edit a post for the first few hours, after that it becomes permanent. Once the edit button goes away only mods or admins can edit a post. The reason for that is mostly to keep people from making a post and then after a bunch of replies going back and changing the original post to make it seem like you had said something different.

you can ask a (not too busy) mod to do that for ya
if this kind is exists at all

Thanks guys for the advice Much appreciated. I know pofecker is busy I sent him and harro a message here and on aim. Anyone know a mod who's less busy? I guess im only familiar with a few so far :/

lol, you pmed the admins, nevertheless they can do it as well

try to find a mod (hexalor, zen19, havokb8, seo20) instead or maybe a trainee mod (godmonkee, tonlilaz, tymillz, 7878, Peter Shaw, Geetfaux, xplicit, vivalafeva, CasinoJack, BigBuddy) can also do this

it can be i left out somebody
