How to edit Instagram Highlight Cover Image

let me help you wih this, edit the footage to include an image at the beginning (this will automatically appear as the cover) when people click on it the image will only be there for less than a second and impossible to see but it will show on the cover. You need video editing software to do this and make the image at the start appear less than 1 second.

Thank you for the workaround. I believe there is another way. I've seen many accounts, large and small (3K followers), that are posting emojis/cartoons or other imaging on the cover that has nothing to do with the video posted. The way that you now see these accounts highlights, is a uniform emoji or cartoon for the cover, maybe with a different color or action for each.
I've tried to search if there's an app that does that, but no luck.
