I'm a newbie. I have a Reddit account for over 4 months, but I still have 1 karma. Is there any way to earn more Karma? Thanks.

comment on questions or method need post to share ideas/experiences to certain the answer to the question or method needed to generate karma for good reply, making fast comments on new post do certain karma.

I would first observe how people comment in certain subreddits (each one is different). Sort by new - then try to pick a few threads where you see them as new, and then go back later and see if they became popular. Look at the top rated comments - how are they talking, what are they saying, etc. Keep doing this until you see patterns emerge both on which threads get popular, and why top-rated comments become top-rated.

The key is then to basically comment on a new thread you think will become popular, in a voice/style that matches that particular sub.

Since you're new to Reddit overall, you may want to start out with the smaller lesser-known subreddits, as you likely will make mistake(s), and 5 downvotes are better than 500 in a more popular one (you also run the risk of being banned/shadowbanned in the busier ones).

Most importantly - NEVER ever use any AI to get comment text. No matter the prompting you give it, the way they talk and Redditors talk are very different, and Redditors will see it right away and downvote you into oblivion.

Karma comes from activity, not account age. Start by commenting in smaller subreddits, reply early, and add something useful or relatable. A few good comments usually build karma faster than posting.

Post constructive comments in active subreddits and steer clear of low-effort posts to gain Reddit karma. Engage organically, and the upvotes will follow.

Be kind and helpful. Write meaningful posts that provide value to other redditors e.g. tech advice, finance/saving, house cleaning, gardening. Anything that you have some knowledge in.
Avoid controversial opinions that might give you downvotes .

Engage in small, popular subreddits. Comment early on rising posts. Be genuinely helpful or funny. Upvotes there build karma fast.

Not sure the actual technical way to do it, but I think it took me about 2 weeks. I just went in there every day. I made about 10 real posts, things I actually cared about and threads I actually cared about, and then after that, I'm able to communicate on any thread now.

I used to do this manually but the best way is to always engage with new posts especially low comments posts becasue the OP will always reply back and get the conversation going. One thing we tested was that your risk of getting banned for spamming is a lot higher in larger subreddits like askreddit. So we avoid those.

I find the easiest way to gain karma is to comment first, don't rush to post. Choose small subreddits or niches you understand, answer helpful questions, and your karma will increase quite quickly. Avoid large subreddits at first because it's very difficult to get upvotes when your account is new

Post genuinely helpful comments in active niche subreddits and follow their rules, because consistent value-driven engagement earns karma faster than low-effort posts.

Yes, karma isn’t about account age, it’s about how other users interact with what you post or comment.

I just say, Focus on commenting on popular posts and sharing useful or funny content that people like.

Join some subreddits with a large number of active users and post a few humorous or engaging videos. If your posts gain attention, they will receive a large number of upvotes and your karma will increase rapidly.

Go to r/AskReddit -> Sort by Rising.
comment on threads that are gaining traction
when the post hits the front page, you ride the wave. Easiest manual method.

I’m not sure about the exact technical process, but it took me around two weeks. I went in every day and made about ten genuine posts—things I truly cared about and threads I was actually interested in. After that, I was able to participate and communicate freely in any thread.

I don't know if we are allowed to share subreddits here but there's 5 subreddits I'm using to farm karma. Went from 100 karma to 7000 in three days. Mostly for memes.

Niche hobby subs gave me more karma in a week than big subs did in months.

7 days account, naturally built, i have 150 karma and growing, you just need to engage
