How to earn from PTC Traffic?

Hey hi!

This is my first post in the make money section.

Few days back I found a PTC site that paid $.50 per click, ofcourse it was a scam :P

But what I found is that you can advertise on such sites for as little as $1. For $1 you can purchase 1000 clicks (40 sec).

Now I'm a noob don't have much money in my account but since $1 is such a small investment I purchased it and marketed a make money ebook since people on such sites are looking to make money online.

But unfortunately didn't make even 1 sale :( The cost of the ebook was $7 only yet no sales.

Now they don't allow to advertise anything adult or warez.. So you cant promote cam sites nor PPI methods discussed in the forum.

So any one with any creative ideas on how to monetize this traffic? ;)

You and all this PTC members want to make a buck online ..and yes $1 is very much for them (thinking they have to click 100 ads for it) so the only thing you can promote and get results is free money making opportunities (other PTC sites to get refs, free money making reports to get leads )

I guess they all are freebie hunters and they don't wana spend a dime online. So how to make money from such people? And yes they damn lazy too as they dont wana work hard, just click and earn money..
 
Cheap traffic is crap traffic.

Most people who click the ads don't even look at the site they're visiting or even worse, they're using an autoclicker. The only thing I can think of is to use make a page with lots of CPM ads, popups, popunders and maybe a couple banners to some adult/dating offers. Don't bother making them pay for something, PTC traffic barely (if ever) converts at all.
 
I ran across some PTC sites in the beginning of my online money-making quest. I noticed a few people had frame breakers on their page to get out of the iframe that the page is displayed, of course they also had exit popups. But yeah most of that stuff is make money online sorts of things and if you're expecting conversions off of spending just $1 I'd think again.. like the people before me have said.. the people using this type of site are looking to make money with jack zip zero outta their own pocket.

If you just advertised some CPA offers or built something along the lines of.. to get this free ebook telling you how you can make over $2500 extra per month with just a few hours a week just enter your email you might make some conversions but as far as selling something its all about volume and maybe you'll get someone to hit eventually.
 
Let them sign up under you for a PTU site! Put in your referral link and bing!

"Tired of clicking on ads all day for pennies? Learn internet marketing instead and make hundreds."

and then get them to subscribe to your mailing list or fill out a cpa survey to get a free plr ebook or whatever.

Something like this would be your best bet. The problem with sites like these aside from the fact that they don't give a crap about your site just making that $.000000000001 or whatever they make from each click, is that they are usually allowed to click the same ad after 24 hrs or some even just a couple hours and you end up getting a ton of the exact same people that didn't care what you had to offer the first time and very likely won't the next 10 times they click your ad to make that penny.

According to a recent ebook I read, some guy was converting 6-12% on like a simple "Free ebook, email here" text squeeze page. He was using Neobux to do it, which is the most reputable of the PTC sites.

You can buy 2000 clicks for $34 on Neobux. Assuming a 10% conversion, you can buy 200 subscribers for about 17 cents each. This is very good rate, and I'm sure you could later on convert these people with some kind of Mass Control email campaign.

Or, lets say you have some kind of "Free Ipod" email submit, paying say $1.50. I know there is an ad like this converting at 5% at one of the CPA networks I belong to.

Lets say you assume 2% conversion rate just to be conservative. at 2000 clicks, you'd get 40 people to sign up, or $60 - $34 = $27 profit! And if you assume the 5% conversion rate, its $113 profit!... Now nearly no CPA networks "allow" PTC traffic, but I'm sure you guys know how to get around that with the blank the refferrer stuff :)
 
i used ne0bux to advertise! and i justed started with them! I found out a way to get ANY site approved by the Company! even adult sites!

Op is mentioning about 1000 clicks for 1$ , and you say $34 ..I would never give that money for junk traffic . And I think 10 % conversion rate is some dream in bux sites..One can buy better traffic and visitors with 34$ , at least keyword targetted PPC traffic..maybe it converts 10 % in CPA offers..

You're definitely over-estimating your conversions. With these PTC sites we're talking about extraordinarily low conversion rates (fractions of fractions of 1%). That's why almost nobody uses them--it's just not a very profitable avenue in a lot of cases.
