I am currently in the process of launching a clothing commerce website with my own personal designs.

I wanted to know if anyone had any advice as to how to drive traffic to my site.
I understand the need for SEO
social and digital marketing and advertising
Possible buying ads

What else would I have to consider?
Would really appreciate the advice.

Pinterest will be perfect for a clothing business so focus on that channel.

Social media is your best friend, buy shout outs and post on popular social account, it work way better than advertising (buying ads)

agree that Pinterest will be best and Instagram. FB ads are also a gold mine if you can get the CPC low enough. SEO will be slow so just know that if you do go the SEO route. influencer marketing as well. You need to know how much you're willing to pay for a visitor

Ok perfect, thank you for all the advice. So what I have gotten from everyone's responses is I need to focus on my social media platforms (mainly Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook). And then Facebook adds and shout outs on popular accounts.

I will also need to focus on some SEO but that will be over a longer period of time, I understand the fashion industry is very competitive, is it realistic to expect to become a first page Google website in my industry without spending thousands per month?

You first need to build your brand. Typical way to do that is get influencers to wear your clothing and then get some photos of them doing so. Easiest way to do that now is drawing up a list and contacting them through social media.

Well building your brand is all about building desirability for the brand. So you need to do pr. Get the influencers wearing the clothes, get the photos to the press. Thats how all fashion brands start then real fans will follow.

Social media is your best bet.

It allows you to target by gender and interest (and a whole lot more).

If your designs are related and good enough, you'll get decent CTRs and good EPC.

Try Facebook. If you are short of funds, try Reddit.

Building a brand in ecom is literally the hardest way to start.

Creating a niche ecom store is substantially easier.

Regardless, the best strategy has already been stated. Get influences to wear your clothing.

The reason Gatorade got so powerful, is because in the late 90's they got a sponsorship from Micheal Jordan. Remember that.

If you want instant traffic then social media is your best friend. Try to build profiles on FB, Instagram, Pinterest etc and build your followers, join groups in your niche and get traffic.

Social Media is the best platform to promote your business online you can run ads on facebook to bring more conversion or you can also ads on google they both can help you in good way.
