Hi, how are you today?

I make this thread, because I don't have any tip or idea how to do this.

So, my question is... How to do your own Journalism? Let's go think you like to write football news, or your favorite club of football news.

Where do you get information news? Sources news? Of course you need to follow a lot of websites news to have a good "hive of sources"

I want to do more, I want to write news that others can't do. For example always you know a website of news that is good to giving new or leaks that you didn't find on other websites or blogs.

There are any ebook with strategies, tips to improve your knowledge how to get information about something? I don't want to be a journalist for TV, I want do a Online Journalism like Whistle blowers about niches I like to write.

So, how these guys do that? Where they get the information? I Like the idea of "this guy know very well this kind of things" "He knows a lot of that" "He is the first to announce that before any other website"

So, any ebook? Any website available to get more information easily?

Reddit is a very good source of information if you find the right subreddits ;)

I believe there is still a market for journalism per se. It's about creating summaries of information. An affiliate seller who creates unique content is doing the job of a journalists review, except their impartiality is questionable. But the value they offer is in the summarized form.

I recommend you to have a look at Reddit. You will find what you need most probably :)

Yes, but the question is. How to do that? I'm talking about news, private news, get information something they don't know.

You must be or know insiders. But looking at the effort-to-result ratio means that being good at finding relatively obscure but interesting stories and re--covering them in a better way to bring them into the mainstream works out being far easier and often just as beneficial as inserting yourself into x industry and building contacts.

Pick a topic (something like WikiLeaks, or govt inside info or privacy or corporate corruption, etc).
Determine how to monetize, through sponsorship, affiliate sales, etc.
Build a following with the usual; SMM, SEO, emails.
Stay engaged with your users.

Just a basic idea.

The grim reality is if you want to be a journalist then scrape news storys from twitter and put a partisan spin on it with a click batey headline.

Good subjects which get clicks

Race

Gender (especially if it involves Heshes)

Minority rights

How bad Trump is.

fuck it if you can't find any stories just make stories up.

fake news has been going on for years it gets clicks and it gets ad revenue.

If you get a complaint take the story down after its gone viral.

This is somewhat snarky but true.
