How to do when you have an idea for a new app but actually you can't code?

You're going to get advice about NDA etc... but those are spectacularly hard to enforce and you'd need money to even bother trying. And when they've just passed your idea to a friend good luck proving it.
The reality is they probably don't care enough about your idea to steal it. And without execution the idea itself is worthless.
You could go to a more established dev house and pay them to do it. You'll pay a much higher rate and at the end of the day you'll still never be able to prove your new competitor was given the idea from a dev there - but chances are they're paid better and care even less.

1. There is nothing such as UNIQUE anymore. Someone somwhere is already have your idea live
2. You can decide on brand name and book domain and create social profiles of it. Not much buy better than nothing.
3. As soon as you launch your app and it gets some attention, it will be copied anyway.
4. Hire a local developer. This way you can go to his/her place in case they steal your idea.

Ask the developer to sign a bond.

1 - Your idea probably isn't unique, so don't worry about someone stealing it.
2 - NDAs are only good if you're willing to enforce them. This means: hiring a lawyer and bringing the guy to court. Are you hiring overseas? LOL good luck enforcing your NDA
3 - If you're TRULY scared that your idea will be stolen, then just break the project down into 2-3 parts and figure out how to get developpers to work on them seperately (this is a headache)
4 - By now you are probably realizing that not being able to code or at least oversee a team of coders creating your vision is the fundamental reason why 99.9% of ideas never get made.
5 - If you have money, just hire someone local and get it done.

I am a developer myself and worked on lots of projects. Never in my life i steal their idea even though some of my projects are earning good money. To find a good developer go to websites like upwork and hire a dev who has good ratings. Secondly most good web developers are okay with development. They do not want to spend money on marketing etc because they do not have much experience in making money with the applications they make

how can enforcing it be a problem when its in your initial agreement / terms any developer who dont want to sign it should get a pass your paying them to work for u on ur terms.

Have you ever gone through a legal process? It costs a fortune, is super long and just because he signed an NDA, doesn't mean you will win. Also, if the developer is in another state/province than you, expenses become even great. If he's in an other country... well, you better hope that you have deep pockets and that the laws are similar than in your country.
Point is: NDAs are virtually useless unless you have the resources to back them up (which most people here don't).

NDAs are useless unless you have deep pockets. Taking someone to court requires a lot of time and money. If only it were as simple as signing a few documents.

When getting a quote, give them the core concept idea of the app, and leave your "secret sauce" out, or reword it to not give the full game away.
Also, as a dev, I refuse to sign an NDA just to listen to your idea. What if I sign, and your idea is a generic app concept that I'm currently or soon to be working on?

op just to easy things for you internet has been around for decades and there is almost no idea that is brand new, focus more on how to execute your idea instead of potential competitors otherwise executing your plan will be hard for you in this digital era we live in.
