How to do value TLDs?

Would you value a TLD that is not a .com/net/org for an affiliate money site?
Would you bid the same way on a high-powered .co/.info etc. at auction? What are your guy's thoughts on this?

If its making money its making money. But .com domains are definitely worth more.

great and brandable .com domains are rare thats why they are expensive...

It really depends on the niche and if it makes sense to use a .info, etc. now they are so many TLDs, so many options, so personally I would only spend a lot for rare .com domains.
