How to do local SEO

Get listed on local business directories and Put up a Google My Business page up with link to you site. That would do a major part of the local SEO.

It boils down to local directories and setting up your GMB page.

One key tip on local directories: Make sure your NAP information is consistent.

A lot of SEOs who use tools to auto-post their client's information on local directories don't double-check their submissions.

This can be a fatal error as far as your client's local rankings go.

Because if there's any inconsistency in your listings, it can work against you.

If you're in a fairly competitive space and your competitors are more consistent than you, they probably will outrank you.

A little bit of attention to detail, when it comes to local SEO, can definitely go a long way.

First thing you need to do is: learn Search Engine Optimization from a verified source and good trainer. I would suggest you to buy a course from Udemy. With little effort and some BlackHat techniques, you might be able to find the same Udemy course for free as well.

I want to do local SEO. What can i do for it.
1. Optimize the GMB
2. Post regularly
3. Add pictures
4. Add necessary Main Directories and also for your Niche
5. Run CTR every month from 4G mobile proxies only. (do not use desktop bot software or services that use residential proxies)
6. Provide monthly reports from Insights to your client on growth - Calls, Directions, Website Clicks, keywords, and past year/month comparisons.

1-4 can be set up the first month. The CTR will give you more searches and maps each month as Google sees activity and rewards you for it!. You will also keep your clients forever as long as you do it every month.
