"Keyword Research" (KR) for a fresh domain. If that's the case, here's a guide on how to conduct keyword research for a new website or domain:

  1. Understand Your Niche and Audience:
    • Identify your target audience and understand their needs.
    • Research your niche to determine the key topics and trends.
  2. Brainstorm Seed Keywords:
    • Start with a list of broad, relevant keywords related to your niche.
    • These are often called "seed keywords" and will be the foundation of your research.
  3. Use Keyword Research Tools:
    • Utilize keyword research tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest.
    • Enter your seed keywords to generate additional keyword ideas.
    • Look for keywords with a good balance of search volume and competition.
  4. Long-Tail Keywords:
    • Focus on long-tail keywords (phrases with three or more words) that are more specific and have lower competition.
    • Long-tail keywords often reflect more targeted user intent.
  5. Analyze Competitor Keywords:
    • Identify your main competitors and analyze their content.
    • Look for keywords they are ranking for and assess their content strategy.
  6. Check Search Intent:
    • Understand the search intent behind keywords (e.g., informational, transactional, navigational).
    • Create content that aligns with user intent.
  7. Local Keywords (if applicable):
    • If your business is local, include location-based keywords to attract local traffic.
  8. Group Keywords:
    • Organize your keywords into groups or themes. This will help in creating targeted content.
  9. Check Keyword Difficulty:
    • Evaluate the difficulty of ranking for specific keywords.
    • Choose a mix of high and low difficulty keywords to create a balanced content strategy.
  10. Prioritize and Plan:
    • Prioritize your keywords based on relevance, search volume, and competition.
    • Plan your content strategy, ensuring a mix of different types of content (blog posts, product pages, guides).
  11. Regularly Update and Refine:
    • Keep track of your website's performance and adapt your strategy based on analytics.
    • Regularly update your keyword strategy as your domain matures.
  12. Utilize Google Trends:
    • Use Google Trends to identify seasonal trends and stay updated on the popularity of specific keywords over time.
Remember that keyword research is an ongoing process. Keep adapting your strategy based on changes in your industry, audience behavior, and search engine algorithms.
Any guide will be appreciated.

Pick a high CPC niche per Google Ads

Pick a subniche

Find the top sites dominating the keywords for your target subniche

Run the domains through ahrefs/semrush and find the following kws:
- low difficulty
- decent MSV
- tight niche relevance

Hand enter the filtered kws into Google and study the results

Rewrite the top 5 results for each target kw.

Your rewritten content should have:
- more comprehensive
- better written
- higher engagement
- better pictures

Intelrlink the RIGHT WAY (I've posted on this several times, look up the sneaky but SOLID process I use in my past posts)

Once you rank for the easier kws, target harder kws, then finish off with the higher traffic and more difficult kws

Good luck and take care!
