How to do Keyword research

Hello all

I really do not know how to do keyword research for a particular website as like video site.

So guys please tell me the right way that how i can get a suitable keyword for my video site.I know link building work.But for that also needed a keyword.

I know you guys are awesome and you know many things about this matter and i want to know from you all that tricks, software or whatever that.

So i am looking positive forward from you.So dont upset me..lollll

@OP: Go to the search button on the main nav bar going horizontally on your page, click advanced search. Then select entire posts and change it to title. Then put in keyword research and hit the enter key on your keyboard. You'll find something. That's probably the most anyone is going to spoon feed you here about keyword research.

i think you dnt know what to ask.. You can extract kws from a website(comeptitors or anyoneelse) but as your site is new so no use...
here is the correct sequence
KW research>website>linkbuilding>rankings+traffic=$$$$$
you should do Kw research before the developement but still u can do it..
just go the google keyword tool(if u dnt know then google it)
in the box put any thing (niche ) for which you want to make website..
fill captcha n you wil get many keywords..so you can choose

1. brainstorm - main niches your targeting
2. adwords suggestion tool
3. filter over 1000 exact matches
4. download seo quake and check competition for top 10 ranked sites
5. put top 1-3 sites into open site explorer
