Hey guys i tried something couple of weeks ago with 2 nfl matches.

I made a website, optimized it for these two nfl matches and they ranked #1 for some time, but 2-3 days before the matches some competition started to rank the last day when was the match i was barely on page 3 and i bough SB blast on fiverr and social bookmarking gig etc.

Keywords were something like "watch team1 vs team 2 december 12 2011 live stream"

and i was ranking for kw's like "live stream team vs team", "watch team vs team date" and many other combinations.

The day when the match was playing i got disappointed. On first spots were PURE SPAM forums. Forums with no value at all, with ununique content... Total disaster :). I was outranked by spam sites and forum posts and google bazaar (which was btw full of spam again). Now i dont get this. I had unique content i did it on my news site which is 1 year old and it was outranked by spam. Google panda? Where was it :D ?

So my question for you BH SEO-s is how do you do it? Spam with xrumer 10 days before the match or what ?

Are there some authority sites with high PR which i can spam the hell out of it to rank high my article/post on it?

I'm really curious what other people think about it because there is lots of $$$ in this sport live streaming niche.

You honestly might have just not had enough backlinks...

Even though some forums might seem like spam, they could be very authoritative sites with thousands of backlinks.

I've had similar situations happen to me too man...

Hmm more backlinks could cause my website look like spam or even get sandboxed even tho that is less likely b/c its almost 1year old domain. Feel free to give any suggestions :D.
