From virtual assistant to social media manager, it's been a whirlwind 5 years in the digital marketing world.

I believe email marketing in 2024 is different from 2019. In 2021, I implemented a few follow-up systems to convert more leads into customers.

In my email marketing strategy, I typically set up a 5-email campaign that's spaced out at 1-3 week intervals, depending on the lead's engagement level. After that, I switch to a weekly follow-up routine, which involves sending one email and/or making one phone call to prompt a response from the lead.

When it comes to leads I've connected with via LinkedIn, I prioritize swift responses to their messages and immediately send a 'glad we connected' direct email to reinforce the connection. From there, I maintain a weekly follow-up schedule, consisting of one email, one LinkedIn message, and one phone call per week, to keep the connection alive and nurture the relationship.

I think it's still effective, but I'm always looking for new ideas to improve my strategy.

What are the classic email marketing favorite techniques/tools that haven't failed you yet?

And what are new "must" email marketing techniques/tools?

There are many best strategies to improve email marketing i.e, you should focus on improving your subject lines, provide information to your customer, integration with mobile devices, categories your audience, tasks and campaigns should be automated.

I like your strategy, it's just one of the many ways to execute email marketing, in my experience. Especially when you follow-up, it seems to have a psychological effect that you genuinely care about their needs or pain point.

Potential buyers subconsciously require multiple exposures to the same ad copy. There are alot of scientific evidence backing it up.

I would keep testing out different subject lines and also try and add some personal information in each email. hey blank I saw that you did this or that I loved what you did it really helped me out. also adding in a case study like I helped out x person who is in your same niche and we grew their profit by 15%

Everywhere people are using AI to increase efficiency. Although AI-written emails sound awkward and have that AI feel to it, software can be used to gather contacts and scrape data for personalization. AI should be an assistant, not the writer. For example, it can check grammar and adjust the tone so it's not too harsh or something like that.

In 2024, people have even lower attention spans and time to waste. So be straight to the point. Say what the pain point is. Say how you solve that.

Also, you should have an Unsubscribe button at the end of your emails for legal compliance, and use a custom domain. Be sure to configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC so your emails don't go into spam.

You're right about AI being the assistant, not the writer and people have shorter attention spans today. Thanks for your tips! I do have an unsub link at the bottom. Almost forgot about SPF, DKIM, and DMARC!

Thanks! I will try these out

Thanks! Yes, this technique still works to this day.

Could you suggest the best email automated campaign platform you've used?
