From virtual assistant to social media manager, it's been a whirlwind 5 years in the digital marketing world.
I believe email marketing in 2024 is different from 2019. In 2021, I implemented a few follow-up systems to convert more leads into customers.
In my email marketing strategy, I typically set up a 5-email campaign that's spaced out at 1-3 week intervals, depending on the lead's engagement level. After that, I switch to a weekly follow-up routine, which involves sending one email and/or making one phone call to prompt a response from the lead.
When it comes to leads I've connected with via LinkedIn, I prioritize swift responses to their messages and immediately send a 'glad we connected' direct email to reinforce the connection. From there, I maintain a weekly follow-up schedule, consisting of one email, one LinkedIn message, and one phone call per week, to keep the connection alive and nurture the relationship.
I think it's still effective, but I'm always looking for new ideas to improve my strategy.
What are the classic email marketing favorite techniques/tools that haven't failed you yet?
And what are new "must" email marketing techniques/tools?
