How to do a trade?

I want to know how do you guys make this kind of trade -
Imagine I have a social media with a certain amount of followers and I wanted to collab with a random guy who is good at making websites like anime, movie websites, etc. and we make a deal that I will promote his website via a community post or Instagram post or something like that which gets many like and views per post to generate traffic and the profit will be split from the generated money.

now the question is what if I promote his website and run away without splitting the profits?
what should I do to avoid this kind of situation?

services like escrow.com are good as 3rd party intermediaries, but I'm not sure that they'll accept THIS particular type of deal, check their site out for details...

I don't fully understand the profit-sharing scheme, but for the technical aspect of profit distribution, you might consider using escrow services, for example
