Hi,

I'm currently building my landing page for my new ebook and I want to know what are the ways to distribute an ebook. Most of you will tell me that the ebook should be stay on the website itself. But what if the website has some technical problems? I found a solution for this. It's to upload the ebook on a free hosting, but the problem is that it raises suspicion for people who are buying the book, and it's not professional. Are there other solutions which don't raise the suspicion?

Thank you in advance

Vincent

If you're trying to sell an ebook, I would presume you're attempting to appear as an "authority" on the subject matter. If that's the case, you should really get yourself a basic paid hosting plan (at the very minimum). Of course, if you're selling someone else's ebook (that you don't have rights for), then free hosting should suffice.

Get your own hosting with some sort of shop setup. Or use a site like tradebit.

If the quality of free hosting is so much better than the quality of the hosting you have for your own site that you would be better off having the files on a free hosting account then you are doing it wrong.

While sites do go down from time to time the best thing you can do for yourself is get some quality hosting. Building a web business on suspect hosting is like building a house on sand, not something you should be doing. Your hosting is the foundation of your business and really the last place you should be cutting corners.
