I'm working on content optimization and faced the challenge of correctly identifying search intent. I understand there are basic categories (informational, transactional, navigational, commercial), but in practice many queries are ambiguous.
What methods/tools do you use to determine the dominant intent?
My current hypothesis: look at the top 10 search results and analyze what type of content predominates (articles, product cards, comparisons, etc.). In other words, Google/Yandex have already "voted" with their ranking for the most relevant intent. What do you think about this approach?
