Usually, such services are advertised via email, so the first thing you might notice are templates that lacked substance but promised great SEO results

Let's take a closer look at the points of these templates:

- Too general: vague introductions with no specific details about the sender or their credentials.
- Too good to be true offers: promises of high quality backlinks on high DA sites at very low prices.
- Urgency and no upfront costs: claims of no upfront costs, which often indicate a pay-as-you-go scam.
- Guaranteed results: A guarantee of guaranteed results or permanent links, which is not always realistic in SEO.
- Lack of credibility signals: Lack of references to specific brands they have worked with, as well as the inclusion of any case studies or specific metrics demonstrating their results.
- Lack of personalization: generic emails that don't address the recipient's specific needs or website content.

Rule #1, ignore those junk emails.
