How to delete every 2nd line

    Hello,

    You guys know a tool that can delete every 2nd line in a txt file or every 2nd row in a csv file ?

    The second line is a "Enter" try the replace symbol with... or something like that option on MS word.If the content is not to "delicate" I'll give it a try if you don't find a solution.Since you're asking I'm assuming there are tens of thousands of lines which would be a big pain in the ass to do manually.

    Need to see an example of the lines. Is it HTML?

    If it is HTML, you can download Notepad++ and do a find and replace. For example, if it has a line break <br/> you can do a find and replace for "<br/>" and have the replace field be empty.

    Open in Excel, add ASAP utilities (free), go to Columns+Rows in ASAP and first option tell it to delete all even rows.

    Done.

    You would have to do it manually.

    I can code a bot to do it i think its easy :) If you want pm me with a test csv to create it :)
