As fas as I know, you just can delete at your side. the chat is still storaged at the other party, except they also delete it.

There are no way delete entire message you have to delete manually.

Hey, to zap a message in Messenger, just press and hold the message, hit “Remove”, then choose “Remove for Everyone”. Poof, gone! But gotta be quick, works only within 10 mins of sending. To delete an entire chat, long press the chat in your convo list, tap “Delete”, and confirm. Good luck!

hi, bro, if you'r planning to delete your fb profile - deleting your profile won 't automatically delete all the messages you have sent. you can use special browser extentions that are available for your browser. it's easy way to fix it.
