How to decrease wordpress page loading times

Caching makes your site faster, your server happier, and your readers love you.

wp redis cache is not ready for production i dont recommend using it. Use wp super cache and nginx as web server (or at least nginx reverse proxy for apache)

just resize the photos thats all it will increase with 50%.Less quality and more quantity.Make all the photos under 20Kb and you will see the results...use this tool to test before and after you change the pictures size and come back here and tell us

Just got 84/100...is this good?

if there are too many plugins, chances are the site also loads very slow

Mostly it depends on the Theme and the scripts used.
Once we fix those then the prob is solved

Cheers

If you're on budget shared hosting, then you're doomed - because they throttle your site once the traffic gets to a few thousand visitors a day (including spiders) - and cache plugins won't help much

I used to have a Forex autoblog - and when it got to 4,000 visitors a day I could not even log in to admin panel - I kept having to use Google service to remove pages from Google index - eventually it killed the site!

Go for something like Hostwind's business hosting through this forum, and move your site before its too late

I used the P3 Performance plugin recently to figure out why my site was so slow. Turns out some of the plugins I was using were slowing the site down a lot. Some google extra file plugin was making the site take 12 seconds to load!!

I usually just get a FASTER WEB HOST
Those that offer SSD hard drives for their mysql.

Also I get faster results with a very fast VPS. I choose the fastest web hosting technology + op-code cache.

Location of hosting is also important. Where your target market is. Host there.

reduce your css and use css sprites for images that will help you.remove heavy java script and if possible redirect your css to third party website that will increase your page speed.

the theme can also add to the loading time of your website page.
