How to create telegram account without a phone?

You can download the Telegram app or visit the website to register for an account.Then, just verify the code sent to your phone number and you're done.
 
You still need a phone number to register, but you can use virtual numbers from reputable providers; Telegram does check IP patterns, so keeping a consistent clean IP helps avoid extra checks.
 
from my experiences, i don't know why but it's easy to get banned on new accounts created with android emulator

Telegram requires a valid phone number for activation, so there’s no way around that part. VOIP numbers sometimes work, but the success rate is mixed because Telegram filters a lot of them. The more reliable option is to use any regular mobile number you already have access to, even if it’s just for the initial verification. After that, you don’t really need the number again unless you log in on a new device.
 
If we cannot use real SIM cards, the only working option I have found is:
1) purchase ready-made accounts with tdata
2) log in to the portable version of Telegram using a proxy via proxyfire.
3) transfer it to antidetect browser like linken sphere or another one with proxy
But still, some accounts get blocked, frozen, etc. And those that weren't blocked are still working fine. The accounts are identical, from the same seller, from the same batch. I used cheap accounts for +-$1 (tier-3 geo). Perhaps more expensive accounts work better. But if you buy for $3-5, it's easier to buy a physical SIM card in my country (as I am doing now), they are almost never blocked, and I transfer it to linken sphere for convenient management.

If you mean without a phone device, you can still create a Telegram account on a PC using the Telegram Desktop app you just need a valid number to receive the code.
After that, you can use Telegram entirely on desktop without ever touching a phone.
And yes, IP can matter if you’re creating multiple accounts in a short time.
 
You cannot create Telegram without phone number, however you can create many telegram accounts using non-voip numbers, choose country from tier 2-3 to avoid blocking. If you want, you can reuse the same number to receive multiple SMS from Telegram
 
There’s sms activation services that you could use to activate your account, check the forum marketplace.

Do you know if the country number origin has to match the IP geolocation ?
 
You can buy it bcz You cannot create a Telegram account without a phone number IP does matter: frequent IP changes, VPN/proxy use, or high-risk regions can trigger verification limits or bans, especially on new accounts.

just use anonymous numbers to create it (there are a few providers directly on Telegram) which u can get with TON payment (Fragment is good for example)

Emulators still work for some people, but they’re hit or miss now. Telegram is more sensitive to emulated devices in 2025. A lot of folks moved to cloud phones instead — they behave more like real Android devices and tend to be more stable with real SMS numbers.


IP matters less than device + number quality. Emulators are cheaper, cloud phones are just less hassle long term.
