How to create my own mail receiver?

I need to verify 100 or so accounts using IMAP and own a couple of inactive domains. How can I generate a bunch of inboxes and verify everything using those inactive domains? Is there any wordpress plugin that can do the trick?

You need a mail server on each domain.
Then you create one mailbox and a huge amount of aliases for mailbox.
Now use aliases for verification.

Yeah, using a catch all address
would be more efficient then creating 100 aliases, no?

You can achieve this using a catch-all address. It's easy to accomplish and I believe cPanel has it built-in. cPanel or WHM, can't remember for sure.
