I heard it's really not worth it. Google can get really confused if the site has a lot of copies of the same site, and it really doesnt make sense as people can just use the inbuilt google translate your posts if they really need to.
I'd suggest creating a seperate blog, and tailoring it to a country (if you have that many visitors from other countries)
hreflangs are made for that, your translated pages will have a better chances to show up in the targetted languages,
translated versions will show up instead of the original/other language pages, that's better than ranking with foregin languages to the audience,
with these pages, you'll get better SERPs CTR, better conversion rates, better UX signals since users won't just bounce back because of the language,
it's a good oppurtunity in most cases for more clients, more keywords, basically more overall oxposure,
Just make sure you're translating pages that have decent keyword search volume, whenever they are branded or not,
Make the keyword research on each language separately & translate/create only the pages that could be useful for the users or have good search volume,
In some niches, you can easily target x10 of the search volume and most of the foreign keywords will be easy to rank, with no or a few links
