It all depends on your behavior, dude.
If you post content that actually addresses people's concerns, forums will love you.
It really is that simple.
It's about building credibility.
How do you build credibility?
You must be willing to serve.
You must be willing to answer people's questions and give them solutions that may not have anything to do with what you're promoting.
And once people see that you have this track record, you start being viewed as an asset to the community.
Now this takes time and effort, and this is what scares off a lot of marketers because they want a quick and easy solution.
They just want to get in, drop their link, and get the hell out.
This is drive-by spamming, and it's no surprise that people play all sorts of games.
They change their IPs.
They come up with all sorts of fake accounts, and they go the whole 9 yards to try to fake the forum.
My position is you don't have to go to those lengths.
Just help and be real.
This is especially true with Reddit.
When somebody sees a Reddit (and I provide professional Reddit commenting services here and on other platforms), here's how you get banned.
They click on your profile, and all you talk about is memecoins.
When they see memecoin threads and memecoin subreddits in your profile and that's all you talk about, chances are, you're gonna get banned, and all your posts are gonna get deleted.
But if they see somebody who is interested in Star Wars, certain types of fashion, certain types of music, and commenting on different types of philosophy, politics, and all that good stuff, they see a real person.
Little do they know that you're actually just promoting a specific product or a specific service or a specific platform.
My point is, be a legit member of those forums and that community will reward you.
Don't just go in there and say,
"I got this shit to sell and fuck you.
I don't care about your rules" and let your actions reflect that mentality.
And guess what!
You're not gonna be there for long, and that's why people who do this repeatedly have to come up with account after account, using all sorts of tools and whatnot.
You don't have to spend all that money.
You don't have to waste all that effort.
Focus on doing it right.
Focus on being a community asset.
