Well guys i dont want any easy-to-use, no-coding-required tools! I will be starting my B.Tech CSE this year and wish to create various apps/games for different platforms (Mainly smartphones). So i wish to know what to do?
I know that there are specific toolkits for programmers for every platform and stuff. I wish to learn about - Android, iOS, bb os 10
, PC,etc. Kindly try to enlighten me a bit, i searched a lot and got many links and stuff, i dont want all that. I want you to give me the main points and stuff. If possible (And i get a team), i'd love to create games for PS4 and PC! And how does porting to other platform works?
Please make it precise and informative!

Way to vague of a question, I might give you a comprehensive reply in a couple of days.
For now, since I assume you don't know any programming yet, check out https://www.scirra.com/construct2

Well about creating games i am a Game developing learing various tools but 1 man can not make complex games there are some user who have created top games and they are individual 1 man team but it will be very hard from graphics to sound to Code all things are difficult if you are going for 3d then it's more difficult you have added Z axis in the world

i am making games in Flash porting them to BB10,Android,IOS (not working as don't have MAC)

have created 1 game which was a big flop as it was my first game so go for Flash ,As3 learn game enigne or if you are a rich guy then go for Unity 3d Game engine
costs almost 1500+ 1000$ PRO version with almost all plugins

Free version is not good i have checked you can't import custom assets & the Splash screen will be of unity

EDIT: one more thing if you are looking for games Partnership then please tell me as i said earlier in my post for 1 man making game is really difficult

It may be more manageable if you tackle one obstacle at a time. Here are the steps I would take:

    1. Determine what problem you want to solve or what game you want to develop.
    2. Literally write down everything that you want with super quick sketches of how they will get from one scene to another so you can visualize the entire task and think through different pieces that you might not have thought through
    3. Determine which platform you will target (it is much easier if you have the platform, like having an iPhone/iPad when developing for them; Or having an android if you want to do android development)
    4. Break each scene in step 2 down into manageable pieces and remove all of the "bells and whistles" this will give you the base of your program that you should start with and the bells and whistles will give you milestones once the initial portion is done

    OR

Buy a pre-built game and then tweak it to do what you want. It will give you experience muddling with code but you don't have to build the entire thing from scratch.

    Good luck!

I am currently learning to make apps for android... What kind of app you think would be popular? As it seems android market is already quite saturated with everything, I would be making a free app for first run.... Maybe i can build an app which is premium and publish it for free....

Learn Android programming.., install eclipse to build app/game for Android operating system. it is a bit difficult process to create app/game for the newbies just keep on trying to develop with the help of some sample source codes.

What is your programming experience ? only based on your current knowledge can one make a good suggestion.

That said try starting with Java. Since Android apps use java it would be a good place to start.

There is a very good book out there, I use it and it helped me A LOT in the process of creating apps. If you read the eBook and follow the instructions carefully you will be making your own apps in no time guarantee it. Because i cant post links up here i will put spaces in it.

    hope this helps

check out corona sdk, you only need to learn LUA which is a fairly easy scripting language and you can code apps/games for multiple platforms.
