Hey guys,
With that stupid G updates is good to have some sites which have traffic from these websites.
But i cant find any good info about that.
How to do keyword research? How to do seo?
Thanks for all advices

Good question. I can't think it's much different from Google is it? Just build backlinks?

I'm going to jump ship for a couple sites of mine and just go for yahoo/bing. To my knowledge it's pretty much just more and more backlinks, they don't seem to be picky bi$%hs like G. Just build more and more backlinks and have good onpage SEO (old school keyword rich) and you should be good. I haven't been targeting them so I could be wrong but I have sites like that ranking well for yahoo/bing.

Well, anyone with more experiences? Really no one is making micro sites for them? I cant believe:)

I'm also interested. Browsing through Bing's Webmaster sites, it appears that they tell you the elements right away as in the SEO section. I quite not know the details but fundamentally, research the SERP's and rank it. Now the thing is, what tools are optimized for Bing/Yahoo? What tools do you guys use? I assume Adsense for the back end and Bing/Yahoo for the SERPS's?

Ive never targeted them specifically but i rank number (or did for a bit) one and number 3 in them for a cpl kws when i was just targetting google. So ye like others say same shit different engine.

I will note tho that i get fuck all traffic that i can see from those bing rankings.

This what i'm moving across to, building some niche sites for yahoo/bing. Just to test the waters.

Ye i would like to test it also . Will see how bing kw research tool works

Think about Google a few years ago and you'll have a pretty good idea of what to do. However, it usually makes sense to optimize for Google because that's where most of the traffic comes from, at the same time it should rank decently for B/Y. If you focus only on B?Y you risk damaging the other source of traffic, but maybe that's what you need.

In my experience.. whatever I normally do to rank in Google also gets me ranked in Bing/Yahoo. I usually see B/Y ranks happen faster, but the traffic always sucks so I kinda stopped paying attention to them.

It's another SERP, he likes linkbouilding, for example,on yahoo youcan try makinglinkson yahoo webpages, as Yahoo answers! No?

Find my traffic from Yahoo and BIng is much better converting.
However the exact opposite was true when I monetized with adsense.
Maybe Y and B user hate google that much they avoid clicking on adsense as well. I doubt that's the whole reason, but it certainly is the case for me.
Other affilaite schemes convert 15-20% better on Y or B for me, but adsense monetization really REALLY sucks on them (70% down maybe? don't have exact figures).

Scritty

Sounds like you had an idea, but had some kind of blockage when it came to expressing it via your keyboard.
Floyd fan (good man BTW) - so I'm guessing "stoned off your box"
Whatever your smoking - can I have some?

Thanks given, for making me laugh! Top man!

What about other PPC services? How to make kw research for Y and B ?

well EMD's go well on there, my only EMD is ranking at #1

Yahoo joined with Media.net, so it's only going to get better in terms of competition. Perhaps the Bing and Yahoo alternative may be less effective than our norm with G, but expect consistently smooth service without bs disruptions such as this. In this business one must adapt and succeed, and if many of you did, what's with not giving B/Y a try? It's only a serp change, nothing else. Unless I'm missing something over TOS violation over using AdSense code on Y/B optimized sites?

The problem is users from B and Y are much less from G, Unless they over take G, wouldn't be much traffic from them. My site got slapped by G couple days ago and still #3 on B and Y but traffic drop like 70%.

Yeah, same old backlinking then! I never check SERPs in Bing/Yahoo. Might start doing so!

Yea, definitely not a traffic generator but it's there and it sure is growing, I don't see any reason not to. Unless you use my own home made engine or Ask Jeeves, it's an excellent alternative.
